Patent Portfolio

The intellectual property behind +Trusted Infrastructure.

ICA AI holds a patent portfolio covering behavioral relationship intelligence — the evaluation of whether a trusted relationship exists between communicating parties, determined from interaction patterns rather than message content. The portfolio spans four active families and is anchored by two co-equal priority dates. Every figure on this page is drawn from United States Patent and Trademark Office records and can be verified independently.

* Includes one Canadian counterpart. See note below. Figures current as of August 12, 2026.

The granted portfolio comprises thirteen United States patents and one Canadian counterpart, carrying 247 granted claims in total — 227 in the United States and 20 in Canada.

CA 2,985,966 is the Canadian counterpart of 274201. ICA AI has elected not to maintain it; the portfolio becomes United States-only on lapse.

Two Priority Anchors

The portfolio carries two co-equal canonical priority anchors.

November 21, 2023

Family 451, the AI-era core. The relationship intelligence framework and the behavioral fingerprint primitive. Confirmed through the continuity chain printed on the face page of US 12,621,353.

August 27, 2018

Family 21, Branch A. AI-era subject matter granted under a pre-AI priority date. The family anchor discloses AI chatbot interaction, natural language processing, and chatbot-as-communication-modality — more than four years before the public launch of ChatGPT in November 2022.
A third anchor sits at September 23, 2020 for Family 21, Branch B, which carries relationship-matrix and dynamic-network-pairing claims approximately two years pre-ChatGPT.

Examination record

The USPTO allowed six of its eight examined AI-era filings in under 120 days — four on first action — against a national average pendency of twenty-three months.

Several AI-era filings received Special Status or accelerated examination. Where the fast track applied and grant has occurred, examination proceeded directly through to grant rather than through the normal multi-round office-action cycle.

Granted patents

Family 451 — Behavioral Trust

Priority: November 21, 2023 (U.S. Provisional 63/601,645). Six granted patents, 100 granted claims.

US 12,388,880 is the Relationship Fingerprint patent — the artifact from which every TrustScore is derived. US 12,621,354 covers multi-attribute trust scoring.

Family 21 — Network Pairings

Branch A priority: August 27, 2018 (U.S. Provisional 62/723,414). Branch B priority: September 23, 2020 (U.S. Provisional 63/082,335). Five granted patents, 91 granted claims.

274202 US 11,431,574 System and Method for Hierarchical Relationship Matrix Opportunity Scoring 10 Branch A (anchor)
274204 US 11,431,725 Systems and Methods for Dynamic Network Pairings to Enable End-to-End Communications Between Electronic Devices 21 Branch B (anchor)
274205AE US 11,431,726 Systems and Methods for Communication Between a Plurality of Electronic Devices Based on Subscriber Access Score 20 Branch B
274206AE US 11,595,265 Systems and Methods for Creating Priority-Based Regulated Network Interlinks Between Electronic Devices 20 CIP of both
274207 US 12,137,103 Systems and Methods for Dynamic Network Pairings to Enable End-to-End Communications Between Electronic Devices (continuation of 274204) 20 Branch B

Family 29 — Foundational Legacy

Three granted patents — two United States and one Canadian counterpart. 36 U.S. granted claims plus 20 Canadian.

274201 US 10,282,798 Computer Implemented Systems and Processes for Managing Complex Relationship Matrixes of Data 18 Family anchor
274203 US 11,100,597 Systems and Methods for Computing Real-Time Communication Matrices 18
274201CA CA 2,985,966 Client Driven Referral Management System and Methods 20 Elected lapse

CA 2,985,966 carries a different title from its United States sibling; this is correct and reflects the national-phase title of record. Its claim count is per the ICA AI Granted Patents Only Portfolio Strategy and Valuation Assessment (IP-003).

Family 665 — Semantic Routing Layer

No granted patents in this family at present.

274218AE, covering the Semantic Routing Layer, received its Notice of Allowance on May 27, 2026 — 68 days from filing. The issue fee has been paid and grant is expected between mid-August and mid-September 2026. A continuation, 274227AE, was filed June 26, 2026.

Allowed and Pending

Three filings are allowed and awaiting grant: 274218AE (Semantic Routing Layer), 274215AE, and 274210. Six further filings are pending or published, including continuations extending the AI-era families and the AI Agent Trust Lifecycle workstream — 274222AE, covering cryptographic human authorization for AI agent communications, and 274223AE, covering post-connection session integrity.

Allowed filings are not granted patents and are not counted as such anywhere in ICA AI materials.

Chain of Title

All granted patents are assigned to ICA AI, Inc. The company is a single continuous legal entity that has operated under successive names since incorporation; because each step was a name change or statutory conversion rather than a transfer between entities, title passes automatically through the chain.
